Hal paling mudah untuk menentukan suatu ruangan sehat atau tidak adalah  dengan mengetahui tingkat suhu ruangan tersebut. Produk Bahan Makanan harus disimpan pada suhu tertentu untuk mengurangi dan mencegah risiko kadaluarsa yang akan merusak kualitas dan bahan dasar makanan. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan monitoring suhu ruangan yang dapat dilakukan setiap saat. Dari hal tersebut dibuatlah rancang bangun suatu alat yang dapat memonitoring suhu ruang penyimpanan bahan makanan mentah berbasis Internet of Things agar dapat memonitoring suhu ruangan dari mana dan kapan saja. Alat monitoring suhu ruang penyimpanan bahan makanan mentah berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dibuat menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266 dan Sensor Suhu DHT-11. Proses monitoring suhu ruang penyimpanan bahan makanan mentah berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) digunakan sebagai media komunikasi antara sensor suhu dan  NodeMCU dengan device client (Android/PC). Data dari sensor suhu yang dihubungkan dengan NodeMCU kemudian diteruskan ke topic publish. Client (android/PC) yang ingin memonitoring suhu harus mensubscribe topic yang telah di publish agar bisa mendapatkan data suhu.</p>
