ABSTRAK
Pada umumnya suatu kegiatan usaha, apapun bentuk kegiatan usahanya mempunyai tujuan yang ingin dicapai oleh setiap Perusahaan salah satunya adalah untuk mendapatkan keuntungan (laba) yang sebesar-besarnya. Kemampuan perusahaan untuk menghasilkan laba selama periode tertentu disebut profitabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dua faktor keuangan, yaitu Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Perputaran Modal Kerja (PMK), terhadap Return on Equity (ROE) pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman periode tahun 2019 - 2021. Informasi yang digunakan diperoleh melalui infornasi dari website resmi BEI (www.idx.id). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Dengan menggunakan purposive sampling sebagai metode pengambilan sampel, terdapat 20 perusahaan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Memanfaatkan metode analisis statistik yaitu Uji Asumsi Klasik, Uji Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda, Uji Koefisien Determinasi, dan Uji Hipotesis (Uji-f dan Uji-t) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian uji-t membuktikan bahwa 1) Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Return On Equity. 2) perputaran modal kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap Return On Equity (ROE). sedangkan Uji-f diperoleh Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan perputaran modal kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Return On Equity (ROE).

ABSTRACT
In general, a business activity, regardless of the form of business activity, has a goal that each company wants to achieve, one of which is to get the maximum profit (profit). The company's ability to generate profits during a certain period is called profitability. This study aims to analyze the effect of two financial factors, namely Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Working Capital Turnover (PMK), on Return on Equity (ROE) in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector for the period 2019 - 2021. The information used was obtained through information from the official IDX website (www.idx.id). The research method used is quantitative method. By using purposive sampling as a sampling method, there were 20 companies sampled in this study. Utilizing statistical analysis methods, namely Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test, Determination Coefficient Test, and Hypothesis Test (F-test and T-test) Based on the results of the t-test research, it proves that 1) Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a negative and significant effect on Return on Equity. 2) working capital turnover has no effect on Return On Equity (ROE). while the f-test obtained Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and working capital turnover have a significant effect on Return On Equity (ROE).
