ABSTRAK
Pertumbuhan penduduk merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan sebuah kelurahan agar kelurahan tersebut lebih maju. Forecasting atau Peramalan adalah hal yang sangat umum dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perkiraan pertumbuhan penduduk pada waktu yang akan datang. Pengelolaan data yang ada tentunya sangat diperlukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat pertumbuhan penduduk dari sebuah kelurahan. Pada kelurahan panunggangan utara yang terletak pada Jl. Bona raya kebon nanas kec. Pinang kota Tangerang, pengelolaan data yang dilakukan masih belum tersedia forecasting sehingga pihak kelurahan tidak dapat menghitung pertumbuhan penduduk sebagai informasi yang bisa digunakan untuk pemerintahan dalam hal sensus penduduk. Perancangan aplikasi forecasting pertumbuhan penduduk pada kelurahan Panunggangan Utara menggunakan metode Least Square untuk memprediksi pertumbuhan penduduk pada kelurahan Panunggangan utara pada tahun 2023 dan seterusnya dengan menggunakan data pertumbuhan penduduk tahun 2019 sampai 2022. Metode Least Square menggunakan garis persamaan linear untuk memperoleh garis paling sesuai dari kumpulan data lampau yang digunakan untuk memprediksi data dimasa yang akan datang.

ABSTRACT
Population growth is very important in the development of a neighborhood to make it more advanced. Forecasting is a very common thing to do to find out how the estimated population growth in the future. The management of existing data is of course very necessary to find out how the population growth rate of a neighborhood. In the North Panunggangan urban village located on Jl. Bona raya kebon nanas kec. Pinang, Tangerang city, data management is still not available forecasting so that the urban village cannot calculate population growth as information that can be used for government in terms of population census. The design of the population growth forecasting application in the Panunggangan Utara urban village uses the Least Square method to predict population growth in the Panunggangan Utara urban village in 2023 and beyond using population growth data from 2019 to 2022. The Least Square method uses a linear equation line to obtain the most appropriate line from a collection of past data used to predict future data.
