Memasuki era disrupsi saat ini perkembangan teknologi tidak bisa di elakkan sebagai kebutuhan sehari-hari yang sangat dibutuhkan. Penggunaan teknologi disetiap lini kehidupan manusia sangat diperlukan di masa ini, sehingga hampir seluruh baik instansi pemerintah maupun swasta menggunakan teknologi untuk mengolah data dan informasi bagi kepentingan internal maupun eksternal. Tak terkecuali oleh sebuah sekolah. Dimana, dewasa ini kebutuhan akan teknologi sangat di perlukan terutama di dunia pendidikan guna mensukseskan dan memudahkan Siswa dan Siswi dalam belajar. SMK Global Tangerang adalah salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang berada di daerah Sepatan Timur. Namun, dalam absensi siswa yang dilakukan SMK Global Tangerang masih menggunakan cara konvensional dengan media kertas sehingga membuat waktu kurang efektif dan tentu nya membuat boros kertas. Dari permasalahan yang ada tersebut, maka perlu di bangun sebuah sistem absensi berbasis teknologi kartu pelajar sebagai media absensi yang dapat membantu dan mempermudah baik Siswa dan Siswi maupun Guru SMK Global Tangerang dalam pengelolahan absensi.</p></div>

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk membuat prototype alat absensi dengan memanfaatkan kartu pelajar sebagai alat absensi. Kartu pelajar dibuat dengan RFID Card yang secara fisik dan ukuran sama dengan kartu pelajar yang selama ini ada di sekolah-sekolah dan RFID Reader sebagai pembaca data dari RFID Card. RFID Reader akan terhubung dan diproses oleh Raspberry Pi 4 sekaligus sebagai mikrokontroler. Sistem ini akan terhubung dengan website untuk mempermudah staff dan guru dalam proses pendaftaran RFID Card dan proses verifikasi siswa di kelas. Dari hasil pengujian terlihat ketika staff mendaftarkan RFID Card murid, data tersebut akan tersimpan di RFID Card dan akan tersimpan juga di database dan ditampilkan pada website.</p></div>

ABSTRAK

Proses presensi atau kehadiran di sekolah SMK Global Tangerang saat ini masih menggunakan cara konvensional menggunakan media kertas. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk membuat prototype alat absensi dengan memanfaatkan kartu pelajar sebagai alat absensi. Kartu pelajar dibuat dengan RFID Card yang secara fisik dan ukuran sama dengan kartu pelajar yang selama ini ada di sekolah-sekolah dan RFID Reader sebagai pembaca data dari RFID Card. RFID Reader akan terhubung dan diproses oleh Raspberry Pi 4 sekaligus sebagai mikrokontroler. Sistem ini akan terhubung dengan website untuk mempermudah staff dan guru dalam proses pendaftaran RFID Card dan proses verifikasi siswa di kelas. Dari hasil pengujian terlihat ketika staff mendaftarkan RFID Card murid, data tersebut akan tersimpan di RFID Card dan akan tersimpan juga di database dan ditampilkan pada website.
