ABSTRAK
Peranan sebuah suatu media untuk memberikan suatu informasi kepada masyarakat sangat besar. Karena dengan suatu informasi pun masyarakat menjadi mengetahui sebuah informasi di suatu instansi maupun wilayah kota yang ditempatinya. Diskominfo Pemerintah Kota Tangerang adalah suatu instansi yang memberikan suatu informasi kepada masyarakat maupun OPD. Untuk saat ini belum dirancangnya sebuah media komunikasi visual berbentuk majalah berbasis digital untuk menampilkan publikasi informasi berupa penyajian data mengenai progres pembangunan di wilayah Kota Tangerang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar informasi mengenai program pembangunan di wilayah Kota Tangerang dapat tersampaikan kepada masyarakat dan bagi OPD dengan menggunakan media desain komunikasi visual berbasis majalah digital. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah menjadikan instansi yang menjadikan wadah dalam memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat maupun Organisasi Perangkat Daerah. Dengan menggunakan beberapa metode penelitian seperti metode observasi, metode wawancara dan metode studi pustaka. Rancangan media komunikasi visual berupa majalah digital ini menggunakan konsep desain yang terdiri dari layout kasar, layout komprehensif dan final artwork. Dengan menggunakan software penunjang rancangan desain grafis yaitu adobe photoshop cc dan adobe illustrator cc sehingga kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan perancangan media komunikasi visual berupa majalah berbasis digital akan memberikan sebuah gambaran umum mengenai program pembangunan di wilayah Kota Tangerang baik kepada instansi maupun masyarakat.
