ABSTRACT Developments in science and technology today resulted in increased human need for energy resources. One was the use of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) in everyday life. But of the many advantages gained from the use of LPG, there are several factors that must be considered dangerous. For example in the process of installation of LPG cylinders are improperly can cause gas leaks which in turn can trigger an explosion. For that needed a tool that can detect gas leaks that combined with the Internet of Things in order to provide the notification in early prevention of the gas leaks. From this problems, then it was made a tool by using a microcontroller Arduino Uno and Esp8266 to facilitate the monitoring remotely and keep up with technology by implementing the Internet of Things so that explosions and accidents can be avoided.
