ABSTRAKSI

                                               

 

Perkembangan zaman khususnya perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi yang semakin lama semakin maju, tentu kesulitan dan rintangan akan menghampiri. Komputer adalah suatu alat elektronik untuk mengolah data yang digunakan oleh instansi-instansi pemerintah maupun swasta. Penggunaan komputer ini harus sesuai dengan kebutuhan organisasi yang memakainya, baik software maupun hardware nya agar komputer dapat dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin. Saat ini sistem pendataan persedian barang komponen pada PT.Daiichi Elevator Indonesia belum berjalan dengan baik karena masih menggunakan buku besar, Ms.Excel dan Ms.Word sebagai alat pendataannya, dalam pengelolaan data barang komponen pun masih kurang baik dari segi penyimpanan yang rentan hilang dan rusak serta proses pencarian arsip yang memakan waktu lama serta penumpukan berkas – berkas di dalam rak sehingga sulit mencari berkas dan harus dicari satu persatu sehingga kesulitan dalam pencarian data barang yang diinginkan. Dengan adanya sistem yang dapat mencari dengan cepat data persedian barang komponen yang akan digunakan sehingga tidak terjadi penumpukan berkas, sehingga peneliti tertarik membahas Sistem Informasi berbasis web. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka, metode analisis menggunakan SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunitie, Threat), UML terdiri dari (Usecase Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram) sebagai alat bantu untuk menggambarkan alur prosedur dalam bentuk objek. Dengan adanya Sistem Informasi Pendataan Kearsipan Dokumen sebagai antisipasi terhadap human error dalam melakukan pendataan kearsipan secara konvensional, memiliki fungsi upload file scan dokumen berformat PDF (Portable Document Format) yang memungkinkan data arsip akan tersimpan lebih rapih dan teratur serta pencarian data dokumen dengan waktu yang singkat.
