Saat ini penanganan ''konversi'' masih dilakukan secara semi komputerisasi menggunakan ''Microsoft Excel''. maka dibutuhkan sistem yang dapat menyetarakan atau mengkonversi mata kuliah. Metode yang digunakan dalam Sistem informasi ini yaitu metode SDLC (''System Development Life Cycle'') model tipe ''waterfall'', yang diharapkan agar dapat dengan mudah menentukan pencapaian suatu sistem, dimana sebuah sistem ''website'' yang telah didesain menggunakan PHP dengan ''Framework Laravel'' sebagai bahasa pemrogramannya dan SQL sebagai wadah penyimpan database, dan UML (''Unified Modeling Language'') sebagai model sistem untuk menggambarkan alur prosedur dalam bentuk objek terdiri atas ''Use Case Diagram'', ''Activity Diagram'', dan ''Sequence Diagram''. Adapun hasil dari pengujian ini berupa data atau informasi mengenai ''konversi'' nilai mata kuliah. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem ini dapat menjalankan fungsi yang diharapkan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di masa pandemi ini adalah pendaftar siswa masih menggunakan cara yang manual yaitu dengan cara pengisian formulir menggunakan lembar yang sudah disediakan panitia, karena masih menggunakan metode seperti yang sudah dijelaskan panitia kesulitan untuk menyeleksi laporan penerimaan siswa baru hal ini juga dapat menyebabkan lambatnya informasi seleksi penerimaan siswa baru. Berdasarkan masalah diatas maka peneliti menganalisis kendala yang ada dengan metode SWOT. Analisa SWOT bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi alternatif-alternatif strategi sehingga memberikan hasil analisa yang akurat. SWOT yaitu kekuatan (''Strength''), Kelemahan (''Weakness''), Peluang (''Opportunities''), dan Ancaman (''Threat''). Analisa SWOT bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi alternatif-alternatif strategi sehingga memberikan hasil analisa yang akurat. Setelah menganalisis penulis mengusulkan sitem pendaftaran online dalam melakukan kegiatan pendaftaran siswa baru ini yang berfungsi sebagai tempat penyimpanan data. Sehingga adanya sistem yang baru dapat mengurangi kesalahan pada saat memasukkan dan mengolah data siswa menjadi cepat dan laporan yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan data yang ada serta mempunyai penyimpanan yang terintegrasi. Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya sistem pendaftaran online ini pengolahan data siswa baru menjadi lebih teratur serta keamanan data lebih akurat dalam menunjang kegiatan admin dalam melakukan pengelolaan data sehingga tidak membutuhkan waktu yang lama.</p></div> |
